18th Century KPM Here we have one of my favorite porcelain makers. The factory at Berlin was started by Wilhelm Wegely in 1751 but due to financial problems it only survived until 1757. In 1761 Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky was persuaded by Friedrich the Great to make porcelain again in Berlin. He was successful but sold the business in 1763 to the King. Gotzkowsky and Wegely porcelain is very rare and valuable. And finally I can say I found one for my collection! Yippee! The museums in Berlin have quite a nice collection of them to look at. The Koenigliche Porzellan Manufaktur as we know Berlin today has been around since 1763. The quality of their porcelain is as good as Meissen especially of the tablewares but the figurines are usually not as good. Figures were mostly modelled by Elias and Christian Meyer. kpm porcelain made by KPM porcelain made in Berlin Berlin porcelain kpm Berlin porcelain Berliner Porzellan KPM Porzellan Berlin Porzellan aus Berlin Porzellan aus dem 18ten jahrhundert 18th century kpm procelain 1700s kpm porcelain 1700 kpm porcelain Berliner Porzellan aus dem 18ten Jahrhundert KPM porcelain from 1780 kpm porcelain from 1770 KPM porcelaine Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin KPM porcelana KPM porcellana KPM porcelaine KPM porcelán KPM porcelán KPM Porcelaine porcelaine de KPM porcelaine de Berlin porcelana de KPM Berlino porcellana porcellane di KPM porcelana en KPM porcelana en Berlin porcelaine par KPM porcelaine par Berlin porcelaine KPM porcelaine Berlin porselein KPM porselein |
