Reticulated Floral Basket

This is a nice reticulated basket made by KPM in the late 18th century. It is not easy to find these early versions in good condition these days. This one here is nicely hand painted with a superb and very typical floral design in the bottom inside, some nice green and pink trim to the outside and two superb branch handles with the leaves and berries forming the terminals. Gold trim to the very edge. Really a very nice piece! The basket is in superb condition with just a touch of gold wear to the tips of the edge. It displays perfectly! The piece is 3.5 inches tall (including the handles), 8.625 inches wide and 6.375 inches deep. It is marked underneath with their under glaze blue scepter mark as well as some impressed marks normal to these early wares. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
