Palmleaf Reticulated Floral Plate #2

This is a really nice reticulated plate made by KPM in the their early years of 18th century around 1770. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The plate is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement in the center in their earliest style as well as three smaller flowers. There is a gold trim around the well edge. The rim has one of their fanciest reticulated designs to it called Palmendurchbruch (palm leaf reticulation) which looks fantastic. I have never had an 18th century version of it just more modern ones. It is very detailed with lots of cut out areas as well as relief designs. The very edge has a raised flower design to it with little gold arches in between. The plate is in good condition for its age but with a touch of wear (not to the flowers!) and one of the gold arches on the edge has been damaged and the one next to it has a firing crack. It would be an easy fix for any restorer to bring it back to perfection! The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with a very early under glaze blue scepter mark well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
