Soldier Figurine

This is a figurine of a soldier made by KPM around 1780. It is left in the white to show off the nice detail of the modeling. Figurines by KPM from this period are not easy to find at all especially the little white ones! It is of Amor disguised as a soldier wearing a triangular hat and with a sword on his side. The figurine is in great display condition and looks pefect from the front but the sword tip was longer at some point and probably broke off and was ground down a bit to make it look better again. Also there used to be wings I thinks since the back was ground down as well and there is no glaze in those areas. But like I said - he looks and is perfect from the front. The figurine is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark underneath. He is 4 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
