Small Pot w/ Blue Trim

This is a really cute little pot made by KPM in the late 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. Not sure what this was used for but it does have the steam hole in the center of the fiial so most likely hot milk or water. Like a fancy creamer :) The piece is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement on either side as well as two small flowers along the spout and a tiny leaf and butterfly to the right side of the handle. Three more small flowers to the top edge and three more to the lid. What makes this a bit of an usual piece is that instead of gold trim it has a blue trim that looks stunning and because it does not wear like gold and thus is in superb condition. The shape is also not as common since it was only used during the classicism period of around 1800. The handle shape is very typical for this period! The pot is in perfect condition! The piece is 3.875 inches tall with the lid, 4.625 inches from handle to spout tip and 2.25 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the normal impressed / incised marks of the period as shown. A very nice miniature piece!
