Classicism Floral Coffee Cup & Saucer #1

This is a superb cup and saucer made by KPM between 1780 and 1800. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. Both pieces are hand painted with a nice large floral arrangement in the center of the saucer and on the front of the cup as well as some smaller scatter flowers to the rim and other side of the cup. Simple gold trim to the top rims and a puce trim to the classicism style handle. The set is in super condition with some minor amount of wear to the gold trim - as nice as they come! The cup is 2.375 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. Both are marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter with a line above one and a very early painter's mark next to the one on the saucer. Some impressed lines to the underside cup rim and impressed numbers to both as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
