Teapot #2

This is a teapot made by KPM between 1780 and 1800. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. It is handpainted with two floral arrangements - one on each side as well as two smaller flowers. The handle and the spout are decorated in relief work. The lid finial is in the shape of an open blossom. Two small flowers are on the lid as well. The pot is in great condition. The lid finial is missing the little branch piece that connects it to the leaves. There is also a small shallow chip to the lid underside that can't be seen when the lid is in place. The pot is 4.75 inches tall, 7.5 inches long and 4.5 inches wide. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter with the blue line underneath. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
