Little Pot w/attached Lid

This is a nice lidded small coffee or milk pot made by KPM in the 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The piece is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement on either side as well as a small flower in the front, one under the handle and another to the spout area. Two more on the lid and a little butterfly right by the spout opening as shown. The handle and spount have a nice relief design to them. The lid has a floral finial to it. Lid and main body are connected with a metal chain as shown. The pot is in good condition with a large chip out of the spout that was either reglued perfectly or never came out completely. A bit of green paint flaking to the stem of the finial, a chip to the underside of the lid and a little roughness to the top of the finial but all in all still a very nice example! It displays perfectly from the sides! The piece is 5.5 inches tall with the lid and 3.25 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark as well as the normal impressed/incised marks of the period. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
