Caughley Caughley was founded around 1750. It was sold to Gallimore in 1754 whose daughter married the Worcester born Th. Turner. In 1772 Turner became the owner and made porcelain in the Worcester style. The only difference between Caughley and Worcester is the color of the paste. The business was sold to John Rose in 1799 who still made porcelain here but already had it decorated in Coalport. Caughley closed its doors in 1814.
