Fisherman Egg Drainer

This is a fun piece made by Caughley in about 1770. It is an egg drainer - a small round dish with a branch handle and a pierced hole design to it decorated with a nice underglaze blue design called Pleasure Boat or Fisherman pattern. Really a nice piece! It is marked underneath with the S+ early Salopian mark. The piece is in the same condition as the day it was made which is rare. The dish is 0.75 inches tall (plus the handle) and has a diameter of 3.125 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
