Cup & Saucer #1

This is a cup and saucer made by Caughley around 1780. It is superbly decorated with a blue and white motif which is called the temple pattern I believe. Also a nice gold trim. The set is in super condition with some wear to the gold trim on the edge of the saucer mostly. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. It has some black specs in the paste from firing typical of Caughley porcelain. Marked underneath in underglaze blue with S+. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. It is marked with an underglaze blue So mark. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
