Salopian Nankin Pattern Cup #2

This is a nice cup and saucer made by Caughley in the 18th century. It is decorated in under glaze blue with the hard to find Nankin pattern (often referred to one of the blue Willow patterns) and a bit of gilding to the edges and handle. The pattern is very nice and crisp and it is not a pattern one can find that easily so it was a nice addition to my collection. The set is in great condition with some minor wear to the gilding and a tiny nibble to the top edge of the cup gilded over to hide it nicely. The set displays perfectly! Both are marked - the cup with a blue S+ mark on the underside and the saucer with just a + mark to the underside as shown. The cup is just under 3 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter. The saucer is about 1.125 inches tall with a diameter of 5.375 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
