Gold Queen's Pattern Cup & Saucer

This is a really nice cup and saucer made by Caughley in the 18th century. Both pieces are decorated with the Queens pattern in gold with a flower in the center and a nice gold trim to the inside edge. Typical handle shape with a touch of gold trim. A gorgeous set and not something you see often from this maker especially in this pattern. The set is in superb condition with just some minor wear to the high points of the saucer between the well and the rim as shown. As good as they come! Neither piece is marked but that is not unusual. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The handle sticks out 0.75 inches on the side. The saucer is 1 inch high and has a diameter of 5.5 inches.
