Miniature Leaf Shaped Butter Dish #1

This is a nicely shaped pickle or butter dish made by Caughley in the 18th century. Could also be Worcester but I am leaning towards the former. This is the smaller version of this shape and really quite nice! It is in the shape of a leaf with a nice under glaze blue design called Pleasure Boat aka Fisherman and Cormorant pattern with a nice design to the inside rim as well. Even underneath the porcelain was decorated in relief to copy some clover leaves as shown. It is not marked underneath but that is not unusual at all. The piece is in superb condition. No issues at all. The dish is just under 1.25 inches tall including the handle, 2.125 inches wide and 2.75 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $149
