Dutch Porcelain Dutch porcelain began when Weesp was founded in 1757. This factory was bought and moved to Oude Loosdrecht in 1771 and it was again moved after it was sold in 1782. This time to Amstel where it remained until it closed in the early 19th century. The Hague was more of a decorating studio that used Ansbach and Tournai porcelain blanks. It was founded in 1775 and closed shortly thereafter in 1790. Most Dutch porcelain is based on Meissen examples but often a bit less refined. Figurines are super rare as only Weesp even made any at all. None of the factories are around today.
