Haag Animal Scene Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by The Hague / Den haag around 1780 - looks to be painted on Ansbach blanks. Both pieces are hand painted with a superb animal scene as well as a gold trim to the edge. It is unusual a scene like this and the quality is superb! The saucer has a fox or something along those lines painted on it in a landscape surrounding with the cup a similar but younger looking one also in a landscape surrounding. A few puce flowers here and there and a bit of gold trim to the handle of the cup. The set is in great condition with some flaking of the brown enamels of the rocks and a tiny bit of wear but all in all in superb condition. Both pieces are marked with the above glaze blue stork with an eel mark though this one is nicer painteed than any other mark I have seen which is nice. The cup is 2 inches tall and 3.125 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
