Oude Loosdrecht Polychrome Scenic Saucer

This is a saucer made by Oude Loosdrecht between 1771 and 1784. Oude Loosdrecht was founded by Johannes de Mol in 1771 with what was left of the Weesp factory and was closed in 1784 when he died. The saucer is handpainted in colos with a superb scene in the center of a gentleman and a lady surrounded by a andscape scene with three small flowers around that and a nice gold trim. The saucer is in great condition with a little wear/paint flaking to the scene and some wear to the gold trim. There is one small rim chip that would be an easy fix. This rare piece still displays perfectly and is not something you will find again. The piece is marked faintly with the underglaze blue M.o.L as well as an incised star anda script L 1 (I think) underneath. It is 1 inch tall and 5 inches in diameter.
