Jean Gille Jean Gille founded a porcelain factory at Rue de Paradis-Poissonniere in France around 1845. He mainly made biscuit figurines that were of very high quality. Actually I believe that his are the best painted biscuit pieces one can own maybe with Minton and Copeland being some good competition. His chief modeller was Charles Baury who later took over the factory with Vion and thus it became known as Vion and Baury. Both won several medals at the world exhibitions. They are not around anymore.
