Jean Gille Mother Figurine

This is a nice figurine made by Jean Gille in about 1850. This is another great example of his work. It is of a mother playing with her young daughter. It is very well modeled and painted superbly. The piece is made of painted biscuit. It is 8.5 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 6 inches deep. In great condition with a few very minor tiny chips. The piece is marked with a partially missing JG mark on a blue raised piece of porcelain. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
