Vion & Baury Nude Lady Figurine

This is a huge figure of a nude lady perched on a rocky base made by Vion & Baury around 1870. This is a great example of his work after he took over the company but still very much in the same style as during the earlier times and not yet the more mass produced style of the green anchor marked pieces. A very well modeled piece and quite large this one is bound to attract some attention in your living room :) The figurine is about 9.5 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 17 inches long. She is in good condition with some manufacturing imperfection normal to these large early pieces. They didn't have the luxury of glaze covering up minor flaws since these are painted directly on the porcelain without the use of glaze.
