Zuerich Scenic Plate

This is a rare deep plate / soup bowl made by Zürich in the 18th century. It is nicely hand painted with a large scene in the center including Some people, a boat and ahouse in a landscape surrounding with three small landscape scenes along the rim. Nice relief pattern to the rim which is typical for this maker! The plate is in great condition with a minor touch of wear, a firing flaw to the top edge of the rim (not visible from underneath) and a small chip to the udnerside edge (not visible from the top). The piece displays perfectly and looks amazing. A rare example for sure. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue Z with two dots as well as incised number 2. The piece is 1.625 inches tall and 9.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
