Zuerich Serving Dish

This is a serving dish or small platter made by Zürich in the 18th century. It is nicely handpainted with large floral arrangement as well as lots of smaller flowers scattered throughout. Nice relief pattern to the rim and a gold trim to the edge. The piece is in good condition with some paint that has flaked off, the gold trim is worn and the footring has some chipping. It still displays very nicely and is a great and rare example of a top maker. The platter is marked underneath with the underglaze blue Z with two dots as well as incised N2 and HoL (not sure on that one!). The piece is 1 inch tall, 10.25 inches wide and 7.75 inches deep.
