Yellow Ground Vase

This is a about as nice a vase as one could wish for from the aesthetic period made by Worcester in 1883. Superbly modeled with two dolphin handles and some nice detailed brown and gold trim. Great strong yellow ground color that is handpainted with some really nice stylized flowers typical of this period. The vase is in perfect condition with the tiniest of wear mainly to the very top rim. It is 10.75 inches tall and has a diameter of about 6 inches. The piece is marked with the green Worcester mark with the year code U (I think), the impressed numbers 871 and U3, a painter's mark R in gold and a puce retailers type mark that stated made for Caldwell Philadelphia. Really a superb specimen for this period! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
