Blue Rim Floral Plate

This is a plate made by Worcester around 1770. It is hand painted with a nice polychrome floral arrangement in the center, a cobalt blue ground colored rim with and amazing gold trim around the center well and a simple trim around the edge. The porcelain is of very good quality and a superb example of Worcester porcelain of the 18th century. The plate is in great condition with a little bit of wear to the gilding but it displays wonderfully. The plate is marked with the under glaze blue fret mark underneath meant to imitate the Chinese marks. It is is 1.125 inches tall and 7.875 inches in diameter.
