Turquoise Trim Floral Cup & Saucer

This is a nice cup and saucer made by Worcester around 1770. The set has a nice shape to it and is hand painted with some nice small polychrome floral arrangments but my favorite part is that turquoise and fancy gold trim along the rim. This color and even this trim is often associated with the workshop of James Giles but I do not know enough to be sure of that. Either way a stunning cup and saucer that are both in great condition. Some firing specs and a little wear to the high points of the flowers on the saucer and two chips to the foot of the cup as shown. The white spot on the turquoise trim is not a chip just where the color missed a spot. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and has a diameter of 3.25 inches. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.375 inches. Each piece is marked with their underglaze blue fret mark as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
