Blue & White Teabowl

This is a tea cup made by Worcester in the 18th century. It is decorated in underglaze blue with two fancy cartouches of a mother and her child and the father in the background fishing :) Things haven't changed much since then :) The porcelain is very thin with a slightly greenish translucency and this makes it a superb example of Worcester porcelain of the 18th century. The cup is in super condition with a teeny filled in chip to the inside rim which might actually be from the making. It is marked with the blue crescent mark underneath. The cup is 1.625 inches tall and 2.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $179
