Strawberry Strainer Dish

This is a strainer dish / bowl that would have been used for strawberry / cress made by Worcester around 1770. I also ahve the under plate for this dish up on the site. The strainer is decorated with a blue and white pattern called the pine cone pattern with a nice rim shape that has a blue line going along it plus five floral arrangements along the rim. The center has a large design including what looks to be pine cones and some flowers and leaves. The piece is in great condition with a manufacturing flaw / paste impurity that burned away fduring the firing process as shown. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crescent mark as shown. It is 1.875 inches tall and 7.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
