Stinton Cattle Scene Saucer

This is a great little saucer made by Worcester in 1940. It is superbly hand painted by Harry Stinton (son of John Stinton junior) with a highland cattle scene on one side including two steer in the foreground as well as another one in the background and some rocks and grasses complete this superb moorland scene. Gold ring around the edge with the well fully gilded. The saucer is in great condition with some wear to the well and one scratch to the scene which isn't obvious. The piece is marked with the puce circular Worcester mark with the three interlocking rings and some dots to either side of them over the made in England standing for 1940. Also a red W 9003 and some impressed numbers as shown. The under plate is 0.875 inches tall and 4.25 inches in diameter so a demitasse size. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
