Reticulated Vase

This is an superb vase made by Worcester in the 19th century. It is really a double piece. The outer layer is hand cut into lots of different hexagonals, ovals and squares. These are highlighted in gold and black. The inner part is a normal vase made to hold water that is painted in a light blue. The top and bottom rim has a super design in relief and then there is the base of the vase which is made to look like a separate stand (but is not) which is also reticulated and painted with gold. The vase is in OK condition. It displays nicely but has a large chunk missing from the outer layer on the back side. It also has two or three tiny chips to the outer layer but that is of no importance. The vase is marked underneath with the impressed Worcester stamp as well as one in green and puce. Also incised number 716. The piece is 11 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
