Polychrome Reticulated Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer made by Worcester in the late 19th century. George Owen was / is quite famous for these types of pieces. The cup is double walled the outside wall also being reticulated. while the saucer is reticulated as well. A very delicate design with the best part being that is is also painted very nicely and with lots of color and gold and even raised "jewel" bead along the rim. One of the nicest cups one can find from this period! A truly amazing cup and saucer. The cup is in perfect condition while the saucer is missing two small pieces of the reticulation as shown which would be an easy fix but they display very nicely this way! The cup is 2.125 inches tall and 3.375 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and has a diameter of 6.125 inches in diameter. The cup is marked underneath with the green Worcester mark with a yellow H4 as a painter's mark and the saucer has a faintly impressed mark with a pink C. as a painter's mark as shown.
