Polychrome Leaf Dish

This is a really nice leaf dish in the form of two overlapping vine leaves made by Worcester in around 1765. It is hand painted superbly like a true leaf with the veins in relief and the edges are colored in green and a light yellow color. Nice branch handle. The center has a large hand painted floral arrangement as well as some single flowers all around. The dish is in superb condition with just some wear to the branch handle which is to be expected after 250 years. The flowers in the center have no stacking wear or use marks which is incredible. No chips or repairs either just a weird glaze flaw to the udnerside as shown. Not sure what that is from but it is invisible when on display. Just a really superb example! The dish is unmarked which is not unusual for these early pieces but definitely made by them during this period! It is 2.5 inches tall at the handle with the dish being about 1.875 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 9.625 inches long. A nice sized example! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
