Pine Cone Basket w/Handles

This is a superb large round reticulated basket with handles made by Worcester in the 18th century. It is decorated with a great under glaze blue design including flowers, leaves and fruit / berries pine cones which lends it the name pine cone patter and also has a nice blue design along the inside rim. Each handle has a touch of blue trim to it as well. The outside of the rim has lots of molded blue & white flowers to it and each handle terminal has leaves and flwoers to it as well. An really nice basket that is in great condition. It does have two hairline cracks in a section under one of the handles as shown which is a fairly common issue on these pieces, an old factory repair to a firing crack to the inside terminal of one of the handles and a chip to a leaf and flower by another handle terminal as shown. It displays perfectly and the issues are very minor! The basket is marked with their under glaze blue crescent mark underneath as shown. The piece is 2.5 inches tall without the handles and has a diameter of 8.875 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
