Parian Lady Figurine

This is a nice figurine made of unglazed Parian porcelain by Worcester in the mid 19th century. It is of a lady dressed in a detailed outfit holding up the front part of her shirt to be able to collect something in it. Might have been made as a figural sweetmeat dish or salt dish. The figurine stands on a nice rocky base with a tree stump in the back. The figure is in superb condition with one teeny knick to the right ribbon end comming off the bow in the back of her skirt! The piece is marked underneath with the impressed worcester circular mark with a crown above it as shown. The figurine is 9 inch tall, 3.625 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. I own the matching gentleman as well if someone is interested in a pair! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
