Parian Gentleman Figurine

This is a nice figurine made of unglazed Parian porcelain by Worcester in the mid 19th century. It is of a gentleman dressed in a detailed outfit holding up the front part of his shirt to be able to collect something in it. Might have been made as a figural sweetmeat dish or salt dish. The figurine stands on a nice rocky base with a tree stump in the back. The figure is in superb condition! It is marked underneath with the impressed worcester circular mark with a crown above it as shown. The figurine is 9 inch tall, 4.625 inches wide and 3.75 inches deep. I own the matching lady as well if someone is interested in a pair! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
