Polychrome Buttertub Undertray

This is a nice early underplate / stand for an oval butter tub made Worcester in the 18th century probably around 1760. A very rare item especially in polychrome! The piece is oval in shape and is hand painted with a large polychrome floral arrangement to one side with a few single flowers and leaves scattered throughout the rest of the piece. The rim has a nice design to it with a thin yellow line going around it and a green branch handle to each end with applied green leaves and white flowers to the terminals. It's a great looking piece on its own but if someone has the oval buttertub that goes with it that would be amazing together! The piece is in superb condition with jsut some minor use marks - as nice as they come! The underside has some kiln grit in the center from when it was made which does not affect the piece at all. Unmarked which is pretty normal for them during this period. The piece is 1.5 inches tall at the handles, 8.25 inches wide including the handles and 6.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
