Fancy Grainger Vase

This is a superb vase made by Grainger / Worcester around 1880. The vase itself has a very simple and elegant shape but the rest of it is anything but simple. It has three dolphins standing on a triangular base holding it up and the top is nicely reticulated. It looks like a lid but it is all one piece! This is one of the nicest vases I have seen in a while and the shape is top! The piece is in perfect condition which only helps :) It is 7.875 inches tall and the base sides are about 3.25 inches long. The top is about 2.75 inches in diameter. It is not marked underneath but that is not uncommon during this period. A rare usuable piece of this period as most had the entire body reticulated and thus would hold no water! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
