Mansion House Dwarf Figurine

This is a rare and fun figurine made by Worcester in the later 19th century. It is a Masion House Dwarf after the 18th century Derby originals. The corpulent figure is wearing nicely hand painted clothes while wearing a very large hat with the base having some applied flowers to it. The back of his shirt has the tools of the trade for a fireplace salesman or something along those lines. The dwarves are always so cheerful to look at which is probably why they are still so popular after over 200 years :) The figure is in great condition with some very minor wear to the gilding and the tiniest of chips to the brim of his hat. The piece is 6.25 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. He is marked underneath with the impressed Worcester mark as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
