Large Blue/White Reticulated Basket

This is a superb large reticulated basket made by Worcester in the 18th century. It is decorated with a great under glaze blue design including flowers, leaves and fruit / berries with a nice rim also highlighted with a blue design. Some of the items look like pine cones which is why it was named the pine cone pattern. Nice blue design to the inside rim and the outside of the rim has lots of molded blue & white flowers to it. An really nice basket that is in perfect condition except for some minor wear to the glaze on the bottom inside which is to be expected after over 200 years and a firing flaw to the very edge from when it was made. The basket is marked with their under glaze blue crescent mark underneath as shown. The piece is 2.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.75 inches.
