Kylin Pattern Coffee Cup & Saucer

This is a superb coffee can cup and saucer made by Worcester during their first period around 1765. It is hand painted with the Dragon in Compartments or Kylin pattern in superb colors and with lots of detail! A nice early example that is so thinly potted with some amazing colors! This pattern is definitely a favorite of mine! The set is in great condition with the saucer almost perfect except for a bit of gold wear to the very edge and the cup has the same edge wear and a small flake off the edge near the handle as shown. They display perfectly! The colors are strong and the design and shape is top notch :) The set is marked with their early under glaze blue hatch mark underneath. The cup is 2.25 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.5 inches. The saucer is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 4.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
