Rare Marked Hancock Cup & Saucer

This is a great cup and saucer made by Worcester around 1765. Both are decorated with Hancock's Milkmaids pattern transfer prints in black which are very nice. The shape of the cup handle is superb and not a common sight on these types of wares nor is my favorite part which you only see when they are turned over - both are marked with the udnerglaze blue crossed swords mark Worcester used during their early days. Nice thin porcelain with a green translucency. The set is in superb condition with a tiny bit of wear and with the swan scene on the inside of the cup being worn away from use to nothing but a shadow. No chips, cracks, hairlines, etc. after almost 250 years that is amazing to me! The cup is 1.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 3.25 inches. The saucer is 1 inch tall and just over 5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
