Grainger Reticulated Jewelled Vase #1

This is a superb vase made by Grainger / Worcester around 1880. The vase has a nice shape to it and is actually usable unlike many other of the reticulated pieces. The bottom of the vase is solid porcelain and about half way up the large bulbous part the reticulation starts and goes all the way to the top edge except for a decorative part between the main body and next that is decorated with some nice gilding, some of which is raised and superb turquoise " jewels ". Make sthe piece look really elegant! The piece is in perfect condition which always helps :) It is 6.375 inches tall and about 3.5 inches at the widest. The top is about 1.125 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the red numbers 1 over 1386 as well as their brown shield mark as shown. A truly superb little vase! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
