Fruit Swags & Turquoise Trim Cup

This is a really nice cup made by Worcester around 1770. The piece has a nice fluted shape to it and is superbly hand painted with polychrome fruit / berry swags / garlands and some single berries which in combination with the amazing turquoise and gold trim looks stunning! Fancy gold trim to the inside rim as well and a bit of turquoise and gold trim to the handle. A really nice cup just a bummer I don't have the saucer but I'll find one eventually I hope. The turquoise color and especially this trim is often associated with the workshop of James Giles but I do not know enough to be sure of that. The cup is in perfect condition just a few tiny black firing spots to the inside bottom! it is 2.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.625 inches. It is unmarked but that is fairly normal for their wares o this period and it was definitely made by them. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
