Floral Plate

This is a plate made by Worcester around 1770. It is handpainted with a nice floral arrangement in the center, a cobalt blue ground colored rim with and amazing gold trim around the center well and a simple trim around the edge. The porcelain is very thin and translucent and a superb example of Worcester porcelain of the 18th century. The plate is in great condition with a tiny edge chip you have to search for to find it and some wear on the edge gold trim. The plate is marked with the underglaze blue crescent mark underneath. It is is 1.25 inches tall and 7.5 inches in diameter. Sorry about the pics - my new camera is still giving me attitude! Much nicer in person :) Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
