Fan Shaped Panels Coffee Cup

This is a superb early cup made by Worcester around 1770 during their first period. A superb design combination with the two fan shaped hand painted floral panels on white ground and two circular panelswith the rest having an amazing powder blue ground color and some very nice gilding. A stunning combination! The quality of the painting and gilding is superb. It matches almost perfectly with the tea cup and saucer I ahve in this design except for this cup here is missing the little decoration in the gilding in the top center of each fan shaped panel. Almost unoticeable but not a perfect match sadly. The coffee cupis in great condition with some wear to the gilding along the top edge and some nibbles to the foot. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.35 inches. It is not marked but this design is often found with their rare red crescent mark which I have owned before. Definitely amde by Worcester during this period! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
