Dragon Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer made by Worcester around 1765. It is handpainted with the Dragon in Compartments or Kylin pattern in superb colors and with lots of detail! This is definitely a new favorite of mine and at least as nice as some of the early Meissen pieces I like. The set is in the best condition anyone could hope for with just a little wear to the rim gilding at the high points as would be expected and a little black kiln dust also normal! The colors are strong and the design and shape is top notch :) Can you tell yet that I really like this set? Good! The set is not marked which is fairly common around this time! The cup is just under 1.75 inches tall and has a diameter of 3.125 inches. The saucer is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 4.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1499
