Chinoiserie Teapot #2

This is a superb teapot made by either Worcester or Lowestoft or possibly decorated at James Giles ’s Studio around 1765. I cannot find this pattern anywhere but will keep looking or maybe someone that knows could send me an email. Either way it is a superb tea pot hand painted with a Chinoiserie design including a tall lady holding a floral vase with a smaller figure holding a little potted plant up to her. Nice tree to the sides and a floral design along the spot. Floral finial to the lid and the same landscape design as on the pot itself. There is some nice gold and reddish brown to the top and the lid rim. The pot itself is in superb condition but the lid has broken on one side some time ago and was fixed nicely but visibly. Could easily be hidden perfectly but it is jsut fine as is I think. The finial was off at some point as well but perfectly repaired. Some very minor damage to the petals but about as nice as you could hope for. A very attractive teapot all around! The pot is not marked which is fairly common! It is 5.75 inches tall and has a diameter of 4.5 inches. It is about 7.5 inches from handle to spout. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
