Chinoiserie Cup #3

This is a cup made by Worcester around 1760. It is decorated with a Chinese type scene (Chinoiserie) all around including a family, some bugs, furniture and even a small green vase and a boy sitting down by a table. Nice red and gold trim to the top inside rim. The shape of the cup is very elegant and the handle with the groove is typical for Worcester. Nice porcelain with a green translucency. The cup displays perfectly but has been superbly restored- there was a crack going around the bottom part of it as shown with a bright light in the pics. There is a factory flaw on the inside handle in the shape of an extra tiny piece of porcelain. The cup is not marked but that is the norm on these pieces. It is 2.375 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.125 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $99
