Chelsea Low Ewer Creamer

This is a cream boat made by Worcester in the 18th century. This shape is called the low Chelsea ewer and it is decorated with some nice hand painted polycrhome flowers and some red trim to the handle. An unsual and bit naive painting but quite nice nontheless! The paste itself has some nice relief design to it and the handle ends in a bird's head which is fun. The creamer has a nice shape to it as well. The piece is in good condition with a hairline under the handle parallel to the bottom and about an inch long. Hard to spot and stable so it is no issue really and it displays perfectly! Some wear to the gold trim on the edge. The creamboat is 2.625 inches tall, 4.25 inches long and 2.75 inches wide. It is not marked but that is pretty normal. It does have an old sticker from the Godden reference collection underneath as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
