Lidded Butter Dish w/ Underplate

This is a nice lidded butter dish with its underplate made by Worcester in the 18th century. All three piece are decorated with a blue and white pattern called the fence pattern. It includes some nice flowers, a fence as well as a nice trim around the edges. The dish itself has two nice handles with the lid having two spaces around the edge that fit around them. Fun floral finial on the lid. The set is in superb condition with some minor nibbles to the flower finial and a small chip to the underside edge of the saucer . The saucer and the main dish are marked underneath with the under glaze blue crescent mark as shown. The saucer dish is 0.875 inches tall and 6.25 inches in diameter. The main dish with the lid in place is 3 inches tall and 4.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
