Mansfield Butterboat

This is a cute butter boat made by Worcester around 1760. Used for butter much like a sauce boat was used for sauce but thiese were probably for individuals rather than just one for the table. Nicely decorated with molded leaves to the outside and blue flowers to the inside in the Mansfield pattern I believe. Twig handle. A really fun piece in about as good a condition as you could hope for without any after the making damage at all jsut some kiln dust which is normal. The cup is not marked except for threee dots likely a workman's / painter's mark. The leaf shaped dish is 1.5 inches tall, 3.375 inches long and 2.625 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
